Connectwell was founded by Steve Bernard in 2006.

Steve  started a career in Aviation in the 80s and quickly rose to the role of Customer Service Manager at the heart of Heathrow. He personally managed 100s of people in that time. This was the start of his 'love affair' of People Development.

He also spent time leading several change programmes and began to appreciate the power and effect of people's individual motivations and the impact of organisational culture. Craving new experiences he left to embarked on a consulting career across industry. 

He noticed the deep frustrations of individuals and teams and the wasted resources poured into 'change' over many years; many just ignored the 'reality' of their situation and so started at the wrong place. The critical relationship / cultural element of change was so often ignored. He also saw how some leaders lacked the confidence in the power of the individual's creativity and overall contribution. 

The idea of Connectwell was born!

Soon after he met Isabel Mortimer, an acclaimed Dancer/Director, embarking on a career as a professional coach. The connections came quickly. Steve met a previous client, Adrian Marriott, an elite marathon runner, Coach/Consultant keen to support the idea & approach that we represent.
The business is fed by enlightened clients with interesting challenges and a stream of talented coaches and professionals who've become invaluable in delivering the Connectwell experience.
